Restored Mid Century Modern Tambour Door Walnut Credenza
Formerly a record/speaker cabinet, there's no reason this credenza can't either be reinstated to that role or repurposed into a media unit/console of your preference. The tambour doors on the sides roll back to expose generous cabinet bays that can be used to house speakers or shelving, electronics, or a liquor cabinet. The central bay behind the double doors provides some subdivided shelving. Each door is a double hinged bi-fold door allowing you to open them in tighter spaces.
Proportionally pleasant, the surprisingly bright and warm walnut imbues the segmented tambour doors with flair while the top shows off waves a ripples from the grain.
Restored by Niji to emphasize the character of the walnut.
