Italian modernist furniture often synthesizes design movements and trends in surprising ways that manage to simultaneously evoke both the funkiness of turn-of-the-century futurism and the aristocratic airs of a Roman apartment, and only the Italians seem to be able to combine effortlessly the ostentatious traditions of historical furniture making with a flair for the modern forms, angles, and philosophies. Perhaps there are some sensibilities that are passed down through an iterative process and seamless cultural inheritance.
At home in a log cabin, converted barn, or swanky apartment, the warmth of the teak on this credenza practically glows in the sun. Geometric burlwood patterns add a lot of personality to what is otherwise simple cabinet space. All the doors are lockable with the same key. The central cabinet has glass doors and an indented glass shelf that allows generous space for your tall liquors. All of the shelves are removable if you need additional height.
However you decide to put it to use, the combination of storage space and a glass countertop makes it a versatile piece, and at an incredible 114" long, should be able to provide much of the storage you need.
In very good condition, with some wear and tear. There are some light scratches on the glass top.
