All that hot air is to say that this piece is a great example of what a good eye and thoughtful design can do. Composed of a variety of rectangles that intersect but not clash, most of the piece is a warm, medium walnut with a glass door section that gives you the opportunity to provide a burst of color into the space. The pulls on the doors are elegantly tapered strips of rosewood, while the drawers use a circular shape. At 16" deep, it is shallow enough to be fit against a wall or other nook without being an obstacle.

Top shelves are adjustable, while the bottom one is fixed.

We all know that only the rare individual collects china or commemorative plates these days, but that doesn't mean there isn't room to repurpose these cabinets.
