George Nelson Steel Frame Modular Sofa for Herman Miller

If you need a specific living room arrangement, perhaps one that is flexible to the varying requirements of the social environ you're trying to curate, than a modular sofa might be exactly what you need. It doesn't hurt that this is an early George Nelson design for Herman Miller, incorporating a clean, minimal aesthetic to what in less able hands could be a complicated piece.

Atop the steelframe are 4 separate components: 3 seating sections and one end table section, allowing you to have a full sofa with an end table, or a loveseat and easy chair all in one, especially useful for guests who would prefer single seating or access to a table surface.

The seat sections are folding ash frames, and the end table is an ash frame with a white laminate top. Fabric is light gray and the front and top of the seat frames have a fabric wrap-around to disguise the black seat cording.
